it was the best of times | it was the worst of times

so last night i celebrated my birthday with my friends a week early & we had such a great time. originally, we were getting our hair done at this hair place at the outdoor mall by my house, but there was a man with a gun there shooting - up in the air & fortunately no one was hurt or injured or killed - but it was really unsettling, especially since of what happened in connecticut, so we decided to leave. it was a huge deal & really scary. so we all came back to my house & did our hair here & went out to dinner at a different place because the original dinner place was at the mall - not good. but we had so much fun & a great time & i absolutely love my friends. :)

ten days until christmas!
i'm so happy it's the weekend & almost break, i've needed a break since i started school. & i hardly had a thanksgiving break, we only got three days off which was kind of a bummer! but i can't wait.
i've procrastinated on a bunch of homework so that's what i'm doing today... super fun.

i'm on a set-making streak. this probably looks terrible lol, i'm so bored. and i don't want to study for english. grammar makes me want to fall asleep.
i can't believe it's already december 10th... my birthday & christmas are right around the corner. i haven't even made my birthday / christmas list yet. whoops. so i'm going to start studying in a little bit... definitely not anytime soon.

i'm so happy i didn't have school today. the girl's golf team & the boy's water polo team won the CIF championships for our division, and our football team made it to the championship game but lost. so, they gave us a day off of school, which i love. my birthday is on the 22nd, and i'm having a party with some of my friends next weekend, but two of them can't go because of this important choir thing that they're doing for the holidays, so the three of us got our nails done & had lunch. now i have to study for a test for honors english & i probably have some other annoying homework to finish, but whatever.

it's been over a year since i've made a set... hopefully not too bad, right? haha.
wow. so much has changed since i've been on here. i know i made the right decision, cutting myself off from polyvore & enjoying my 8th grade year. because now i'm in high school with a great new group of friends, and even a boyfriend. :) i'm really happy. but i think i'll come on here a tiny bit, just catching up with people i used to talk to & maybe, just maybe, making some sets.
